Module 1

The basic rule of English language is covered with everyday situations like greeting, self introduction, colours; common professions, etc. Informally the aspects like grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, listening and comprehension are catered.

 

Module 2

It concentrates on basic vocabulary building and parts of speech. Activities like role-plays and speech sessions provide better understanding of the topics such as food groups, colours, shopping, daily activities and others.

Module 3

Formation of sentences with refinement of grammar are emphasised through speaking and writing activities. The grammar topics include quantifiers, qualifiers, count nouns, tenses, 'Wh' questions, prepositions, action verbs, adjectives, units of measure, etc.

Module 4

Stress on listening skills with understanding of speech elements such as jaw opening, mouth movement, pronunciation and speech sounds. Basic elements of speech like articles, adjectives, prepositions and tenses are covered with its applicability and usage.

Module 5

Enhanced listening and comprehension skills are developed here and correcting speech problems with the MTI removal tool. Practical implementation of articles, adjectives, prepositions and tenses are practised using real-life scenarios. Rules for subject verb agreement and tenses are further elevated.

Module 6

Stress patterns are studied in words as well as sentences. Listening and comprehension skills are refined further along with Grammar and Parts of Speech through activities, speech sessions and motivating exercises. Literal translation of regional language to English - "Indianism", is identified and rectified. The usage of intonation and modulation is refined to communicate with correct syntax and with the right message in the right tone.

Module 7

Emphasis is laid upon correct intonation, rate of speech, tone and pitch. It applies the practice of ‘what to speak� and ‘how to speak�, in a crafted manner using proper phonetics and correct vocabulary. Use of direct and indirect speech, figures of speech and active & passive voice are upgraded to obtain effective communication.

Module 8

All four aspects of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (LSRW) are taken care of with advanced levels of listening and comprehension. Group discussions and brainstorming sessions are scheduled in course time-line revitalise and strike a balance between the thought process and its delivery process. Writing skills, etiquettes, vocabulary building and strengthening sentence formation are emphasised at a complex level.
